Building bridges towards qualitative development
Amapala GmbH achieves financial, social, and environmental development through successful projects that focus on enhancing food quality and access to primary resources.
Hello. We're Amapala
Amapala GmbH serves as a link in the trade relations between Chile, the United States and Germany, with a focus on qualitative development. Our mission is to contribute to the sustainable and social development of both Chilean supplier communities as well as North American and German recipients.

Amapala's starting point is the Home Berg restaurant on the Marktplatz of Homberg-Efze. Here, recipes of German settlers who emigrated to southern Chile in the 19th century are combined with Hessian cuisine and cooked with local products. This strengthens the local circular economy and the identity of the region.
The next project focuses on importing Chilean algae as a raw material for diverse sectors of the North American and German industries. The algae is sustainably harvested from the sea, respecting natural growth cycles to ensure high-quality raw materials and supporting the work of local harvesting communities. This versatile resource can be transformed into a range of products, including biodegradable bioplastics, natural gelling agents for food, dental care products, and bio-fertilizers, among others.
The added value of the company lies in establishing a direct exchange between primary production and industrial fabrication.
